Singing Bowls
Today I had the wonderful privilege of teaching yoga. But the best part is when I got to SEIHAC I was sitting on my mat centering myself to be ready to teach. I glanced up and notice that in the corner was a crystal singing bowl! So I asked Cindi about it and tried it out. I get to use it during yoga. A singing bowl, in yoga, is used to bring you back to awareness from Savasana. So I was able to use it at the end of the class and it was absolutely lovely and yummy! I am very excited to have this dimension to add to my classes. Thank you Syl for introducing me to singing bowls!

Class 1
Today I taught my first class outside of family since I completed training. I had 2 people show up for it. It went really smooth. I felt calm and collected and in myself. Overall it went wonderful.
We did Syls week one for beginners. So we learned basic poses and how to flow through some of them.
The place where I am teaching is so beautiful! The walls are a beautiful earthy brown. The whole place has a very peaceful lovely feeling. South Eastern Integrative Healing Center. Go and check it out!

The Buzz of Yoga
One of my favorite parts of yoga; is when you are flowing through a Vinyasa and you feel your prana begin to flow. It is the best buzz in the world. It just brings a smile to my face and I just feel happy and alive! Prana is a sanskrit word for "life". As it begins to flow you get a tingly buzzy feeling. Some people mistake it for dizziness, but it is different and wonderful!
